Stephanie Corneliussen has spoken, as she wants to be the next big screen Poison Ivy. Not only did the actress tweet out a red-haired photo of herself, but she is the perfect choice for the role.
Below are the main reasons why Stephanie Corneliussen would be the best Poison Ivy.
1. Joanna Wellick
This one goes back to her acting potential which was shown at it’s peak in Mr. Robot season 2. While Mr. Robot is obviously full of interesting characters with damn good acting, Stephanie Corneliussen’s portrayal of Joanna Wellick is the perfect demo reel for the red-haired super-villain.
Her portrayal was not only spot on in making her character as mysteriously evil, and dangerously beautiful as possible, but the Danish star took it up a step up further in season 2, as she showed us just how deceivingly evil her character Joanna Wellick can really be.
This is the perfect mix for the DC comic villain Poison Ivy, as there is no better way to describe the red-haired super-villain than deceivingly evil.
Poison Ivy may be known for her plant like super powers, but like Joanna Wellick in Mr. Robot season 2, we all know that her real power comes in being able to seducingly take over anyone who gets in her way.
While Stephanie Corneliussen may still be rising to the super-stardom that other DC supervillainesses have (like Margot Robbie’s, Harley Quinn), I think that all Mr. Robot fans can agree that at minimum, Stephanie Corneliussen deserves a serious look at being the next major screen Poison Ivy.
2. Harley/ Ivy Ship
While I am not shipping them in the sense of a romantic relationship, Stephanie Corneliussen and Margot Robbie could absolutely get along as they share the look of friends, that Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy have in the comics.
They both appear of similar age, while they both have the same model figure, of slim and yet fit with their attractiveness to match.
Besides, it’s not like Margot Robbie and Stephanie Corneliussen both made it big by playing someones trophy, model, wife (sarcasm obviously).
Like we mentioned before, Stephanie Corneliussen tweeted out a more than convincing picture of her desired character, as she even dyed her hair red for the opt.

Not only does she look good in red, but most importantly she is of the right age range and stature as she could easily be made up to look like the DCEU villain.
Looks may be the least important when it comes to this list, but between the parallels of her and Robbie, and her character as Joanna Wellick, I think Stephanie Corneliussen as Poison Ivy is meant to be.
So if you are a Mr. Robot fan, or if you just simply agree with this post, share it so the DCEU makes no mistakes when casting their first like action Poison Ivy.
