Three Actors Considering Presidential Run For 2020

Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Donald Trump. Unless you consider that classic Home Alone 2 scene, where the white collar billionaire helps Kevin find the lobby, there are many more actors on their way to a possible 2020 presidential run.

If there is one thing you can thank Donald Trump for, it’s the destruction of the idea that you need to be politically qualified to run the United States.

Since his shocking win, multiple actors have come out to say that there is a real possibility of their 2020 presidential bid.

From action movies, to comedy and stand-up, here are the top three actors considering a presidential run for 2020.

1. Dwayne Johnson:

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been absolutely killing it in the entertainment industry ever since his slow build up with WWE. From slowly starring in action flicks, to being the highest paid actor of the year, Dwayne Johnson may as well add a presidential run to his resume.

Dwayne Johnson has been considering a political career for quite some time now, but even recently in an interview with Vanity Fair Dwayne Johnson stated that he still could make a run for the White House.

Johnson states:

“I wouldn’t rule it out,” Johnson, 44, told Vanity Fair with a big smile after speaking at a press conference to promote his latest film Moana in Los Angeles on Sunday. “It would be a great opportunity to help people, so it’s possible. This past election shows that anything can happen.”

2. Chris Rock:

The hall of fame comedian and award winning actor, Chris Rock is the next surprise candidate on the list for a possible 2020 race.

Chris Rock has always had his comedy around the issues of race so it is no surprise that even with his comedic relief he would want to help fix some of the racial issues in America.

While you can never take a comedian too seriously, Chris Rock took to Twitter recently with this funny meme depicting his possible 2020 bid.

3. Ron Perlman:

Hellboy in the White House? It could be a real possibility. Ron Perlman,  like Chris Rock, took to social media to announce his 2020 presidential run.

The Sons Of Anarchy and Hellboy star stated that his presidential slogan would be

“Make America Great Again, Again” so…hold onto your hats!

If you look on Ron Perlman’s official Facebook page, you will actually see more than one post dedicated to his possible 2020 run.

So who if any of these successful actors, would you like to see make a run at president 2020?
