Elodie Yung’s Elektra is Coming For Marvel’s ‘The Defenders’

Elodie Yung's Elektra is Coming For Marvel's 'The Defenders'

This is some of the most exciting news yet, as Elodie Yung was hands down some of the best and most surprising parts of Daredevil season 2.

While everyone should have expected Jon Bernthal to be a perfect Punisher, Elodie Yung surprised us with a stellar, sexy, and super gritty performance.

Since The Defenders will be taking on the never ending ninjas of ‘The Hand’, this news comes with hardly any surprise as you see Elodie Yung’s Elektra being ritualized after her demise.

Elektra has always been affiliated with The Hand and Daredevil in the comics, so it will be interesting to see just how possessed or bad she may be when she returns for The Defenders next year.

The Defenders is said to feature only 8 episodes, but this should still be a lot considering the Marvel hero team-up is to be comprised of Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and the new team member Iron Fist.

From the Iron Fist trailer, it looks like Iron Fist will be taking on the hand first-hand, as it debuted a trailer much like that of Daredevil’s.

While The Hand will be a vital part in antagonizing The Defenders, Sigouroy Weaver is also slated to be a large villain, as she makes her Marvel debut.

The real question is, how will Elektra affect Matt Murdock as he deals with her not only being alive, but likely being a straight villain in the Marvel team-up?
