Mr. Robot season 2 is almost under-wraps and Rami Malek ( the star of the USA series ) has just received his first Emmy at just 35 years old ( wow he actually looks 22 ).
The star actor won for his portrayal of “Elliot” in the dark TV series where he plays an anxiety driven hacker who works to over throw the government from the “one percent”.
While Mr. Robot season 2 has had it’s ups and downs, Rami Malek is un-arguably a truly phenomenal actor as he plays Elliot Alderson.
Not only is he a truly talented star, but he gave a even more humble and appreciative speech that I think we all should enjoy:
Watch Rami Malek receive his Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series:
If you didn’t catch it, that opening statement about “are you guys seeing this too” is about Elliot Alderson and his truly complex and out of whack mind, that he struggles with through-out the series.
Rami Malek did a excellent job of bringing up the true meaning of his role, as every actor is supposed to understand their character no matter how wrong, bizarre, or just plain crazy they may be.

The star clearly understands his character, as he even noted how all of us have that very strange and left out part of ourselves that just doesn’t fit every situation.
While I had my hate moments of the early episodes of Mr. Robot season 2, I don’t think anyone deserved this Emmy more than the humble stardom of Rami Malek.
I hope this speech gets Mr. Robot fans to Thursday as we await the wild season finale that is sure to make our heads fall off.
If you don’t watch Mr. Robot, make sure to catch up with season 1 so you can see what all the greatness, Emmy’s and nominations are truly about.
