Tom Clancy’s ‘Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ is set to release in the United States and the rest of the world, sometime in 2017. Since the original announcement of the game was almost a year ago, It is safe to assume the game will be part of Ubisoft’s early 2017, game releases.
Tom Clancy’s new game has released yet another trailer which explores the characters in even more depth, as well as the map and open world gameplay.
Check out the new Ghost Recon Wildlands trailer:
From the looks of it, the new Ghost Recon game will follow in the footsteps of the most recent Ghost Recon release ( Ghost Recon: Future Soldier ) which focused on an elite squad of four special forces soldiers ( and also took place in the future).
The new Ghost Recon: Wildlands will not only take place in the future of Bolivia, but it will feature a new and very large open world, that is stated to be unlike any Ubisoft game before.
As according to VG247, the map will be so large it will be even bigger than ‘The Division’s’ Manhattan and will feature three airports, a train graveyard, a main base of operations and much more.
As you can see from the trailer, it appears the “Ghost” team will be fighting a Bolivia over-run by drug cartel’s as it is stated that depending on the multiple ways in which you can decide to do a mission, you get to choose who dies, how they die and what civilians and/or hostages get saved.
More details are expected to be released about the game during the E3 press event that will also give a further reveal to the highly anticipated Watch Dogs 2.
